Blood is a visual autobiography about siblinhood, made across the years I left home and found my way back again. Shot in Virginia and the Midwest, the project follows the shifting ties, distances, and quiet rites of growing up from the perspective of the oldest kid. It debuted as my first solo exhibition this fall, marking the beginning of my long-form work on family, it’s pasts, and it’s future.
