Blood is the story of siblinghood—bound by the same roof, the same history, and the same need to eventually leave it behind. These photographs are fragments of that life: the closeness and the distance, the echoes of childhood, the slow work of becoming. As the oldest of six, I began making this work to hold memories, but in the process, I learned to see something else: each of us unfolding towards an open future. What remains is a portrait of family as both anchor and horizon—of youth, and everything beyond it. A record and witness of love carried from the light of our once ordinary days.
